Either Way, They're here. I know a lot of people like to soak up the sun. Being particularly pasty-pale, I am not one of them. Come to think of it, I've only had a tan once in my life.. and it was a complete fluke. Generally, Spending any amount of time in the light of summer (even in what I think is shade), leads to me becoming the woman in red (and pain). Getting back on task.. I made this for you. Yes, just for you. Don't tell anyone else, I don't want rivalries to crop up. You're my favorite. Honest.

A couple of new things in the Ki-Squared Mine for you to gander at. The first one is a special recolor of the Lady of the Pins Sweater for Relay For Life. There is a donation Kiosk which will accept -any- amount of donation (It goes directly to the people, I have no hand in any of that), but if you donate 75L$ or more, you get the RFL color sweater!

The second is my idea of what happens when you don't show proper respect to all the easter flowers begging you to buy them for your mothers and grandmothers and sisters and daughters. They attack, and then they put you in a puffy pink skirt, and you BECOME ONE OF THEM! oh noes! This is also available at the mine, and is more fun than fashion, but you know... that's how I like it.

Flim Flamming is usually not a good thing. We all know this, it's universally accepted.. However, I am not generally a pastel friendly lady. There's not enough "Slap the taste out of your mouth" in pale colors for me. So, imagine my surprise when I felt inclined to make these tops. They're on sale now in my mainstore on Lloyd, for 50L$ each, or 175L$ for the fatpack. Also, there's a special color as the weekly dollarbie. It won't be around again after the week is over.

In Case you missed the last couple new things I released, here are some pics to make up for that. I made some more shoes, these, much more successful than my first run at it. I call these, "Little Wedgies", and they're two prims of sculpted fun. You can pick them up in Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Pink, Purple, Red, and Teal for 200L$ a pair. Theres a set with Black Soles (shown above), and one with Brown Soles. New Costumes! Mens and Unisexuals

Couple new Costumes out! One for men (but really, women can wear it too.. maybe you have a hidden pickle, or would like one?), and one that's unisex. The Pickle Barrel Costume comes with the Barrel outfit, and a hand held "Eatin' Pickle". Perfect for those of you in warmer climates who can't be bogged down by excessive clothing, or Recovering nudists. You know who you are.

The Devil Egg Costume Is more a Cold climate costume.. You know, for my neighbors in the frigid north who pray for global warming to mean something other than worrying about freezing to death when you step outside for a minute or two. This one has a moving Tail (side to side), as well as working with every pose/animation/ao I tried while taking pictures of it and in general running around saying "I am the Egg, Fear me Sausages!" The legs/feet move with you when you walk, and honestly, it's just fun. Devilled Eggs are a favorite where I'm from, regardless of your station in life. What better way to celebrate this love of unborn chickens than to wear a Devil Egg Costume?

The recolors have been up for a little while now, I've sent notices to my group, as well as the Starlust Group.. but if you've not yet heard... Lady of the Pins is now available in 4 new colors.
Head on over to my Mainstore and get yourself some. While you're there, you might want to browse around for the items I've marked down to 1L$! There are 6 items in the store that've been reduced for this sneaky sale. They are -not- in any of the scrolling vendors (I don't use floating text, so there'd be no way for you guys to find them unless you tried to buy everything for 1L$, which really just takes the fun out of it). Any single boards are fair game, so be sure to check them! Two mens Items and Four Womens. Though, to be honest, then mens items don't really look -awful- on the women, so if you're looking to try something out, there ya go.

Lady of the Pins

This is the newest Release from Ki-Squared, Lady of the pins. A nubbly sweater, on all the applicable layers (I didn't include undershirt, but did include pant, and underpant, as well as the standard shirt and Jacket).. It's Copy/Mod With a sculpted piece for each arm. Although it's not shown here, this looks freaking adorable over a cami or tshirt. I even wore some lingerie tops under it with fair results. While I've only checked it on skins I own, none of them showed nipple, so hopefully that'll be true of everything. Sorry to those of you who enjoy having your nubby bits hanging out. If you're hellbent on it, I have some lovely prim nipples you could attach, so they're completely showing. Just let me know, Those I'll give you free of charge!

Lady of the Pins is available for 75L$ at my Main Store on Lloyd, Where, I should mention (along with Floyd next door) there is a panty hunt still happening! I personally put out 5 pair, And I know Apatia Hammerer of Thimbles put out Twelve. Word is, there's more than 65 pairs of panties, socks, and assorted underthings, as well as some poses from LAP, And Hair from Pudge scattered through the two sims in little golden clams.

I would like to note, for those of you not inclined to play with tiny prims, that it is a serious pain in the ass. That being said, I'm -finally- ready to release my new favorite necklace. It's Mod/Copy, Circles, within Rings, held together by more rings, on a strap. 4th time is apparently the charm. It should be noted that it comes small, but should stretch easily for anyone (me) who needs to make it bigger to fit them properly. Also, If you happen to have a plus Sized Avie Normally (like me), and find you can't get this to stretch to fit properly, Drop me a notecard, and I will send you a mod/copy version of the -first- version of this I made... which I didn't realize until I was ready to box it, wouldn't shrink.

As I was hopelessly wracking my brain trying to decide what to work on today (and having no luck with a few unfinished and barely started projects), This little number came screaming into my head. The Pearvelous Dress is available at my Mainstore on Lloyd as of this past night. Every Layer it can be on, it is. The Skirt is Mod/Copy, so you can adjust it to fit your body without risking messing up the original should you need to start over (we all know what a pain it can be)... And it's 90L$. That's right. Under 100! It flips and swishes and is bright like the sun if the sun were multi colored, and you know, had pears on it.

So, I've been gone for a while. Not like I was a good blogger anyhow, as I just don't think I have a knack for it.. However!!! I have something new to offer. The other night, I decided, since my photoshop was on the fritz, to make some hairs. Oh yes, Hairs. It's something I've kind of dabbled in with Cupcake!, but never really done for Ki-Squared.

So, To make a long ramble potentially shorter, Here it is. Flashback. A Bit of a throwback to the high hair of the 80s, or you know, New Jersey, Without all the Aqua Net and Frizz. Okay, some of the Frizz. You can pick up all the Demos (I did them for every color so you can see how you like them on you) for free in my Main store at the Starlust Motel. I've been a bad blogger, and a bad group updater lately.. but honestly, I've been working my ass off both in SL and RL trying to get things squared away for the SIM opening this weekend. I've put out a ton of freebies inside the Ki-Squared Mine (Dunno how many survived the Angry spirits.. more on that in a minute), in the Form of gold nuggets which you have to mine yourself! Simply click the sign inside the entrance to get your mining Pick, Attach it, And click on the nuggets as you find them!

Now... About the angry spirits... Apparently, our land used to be an ancient burial ground. All month long I've been fighting with things vanishing. Not returning to my inventory, just vanishing. I've set out a total of 25 freebies (some of them things I've set out more than once).. And they keep vanishing, and randomly reappearing (sometimes not). SO, that being said, I'm trying to make sure that things are all out, but in the event they're not, Come back another time, and they should be... There is also the chance that things that've previously vanished will be back without me realizing it... Should this happen... They'll be rather large, and probably floating mid air. This isn't how I intended them to be, but.. We'll call it an easy grab. I've got the Purple Party Beads, Encrusted Nugget Rings and Hairflowers, A couple of Tee shirt packs, And a couple of other random things set out in the gold. Happy Hunting!

I've also been working on Jewelry the last couple of weeks. Most of it is priced 50 or 75 L, with one necklace (the Sassy Grandma) being 100. The Starlust Motel is opening tonight at 11pm SLT. People are busy setting out freebies, and Dollarbies for the stream of people we expect to meander through, And in all, just making sure everything is as it should be. Be sure -you- don't miss out on this roarin' good time. I know I don't use this for anything other than my new release notes.. But I couldn't resist blogging this stuff from Thimbles. They both do amazing work, and I don't know that they've had a release I didn't love... but this one really takes the cake. The Skirt, Svetlana Takes the Bus, comes with either a Red, or Black belt, with matching Sculpted bows, and is just to f-in die for. I can't say that enough. I don't wear many skirts in world these days (much like real life), I tend to stay in jeans, and whatever top has my fancy at the moment. This, however, warrented a clothing change. The thing I like the best, I think.. is how many different ways it can be worn. I had it on with just a tank top, With a blouse, With a Sweater... With just a bra at one point.. It all works. Shown here, it's paired with the BarFight Brenda Tank in Bloody Knuckles, and the Shirt layer of Your Mom's Sweater Dress. Serious, gushing, love. It came to my attention... when a friend was trying hopelessly to adjust the wide leg jeans to fit her thighs (or lack thereof), that I needed to adjust some things.. SO! I bring you, the Tiny size wide leg jeans. They're still mod/copy, so you can adjust the crap out of them to fit your fancy... and they're in the normal vendors, so you get the Large, the Small, and the Specialty Tiny prims as well.

I've sent out Add on Packs to anyone who bought them from me before I made these, but if I missed you, please contact me in game, or in a comment here, with your SL name (if you do it on blogger), and the date it was purchased, and I'll send you the new prim parts for them.

Wide Leg Pants, OhMy!

These pretty little things, come in each of the colors shown (blue and black), and two sizes (Small and Large). All the parts are Copy/Mod, So you can fit it to your particular body. The prims are Sculpties, One for each thigh, and one for Each Calf. This should make it really simple to fit, as you can stretch it in only one direction, spin, whatever, to make it juuuuust right.

This is a recolor of the Funky Teal Dress.. Requested by Ms. Apatia of Thimbles. It includes all the same goodies as last time, 4 prim skirts of different waist/hip sizes and shapes, a sculpted scarf, opaque tights, And of course, the top... wouldn't want -your- goodies on display, after all.

It's Copy/Mod, So you can further scale/size/move around the skirts/scarf etc to get a good fit. If for some reason you cannot get it to fit properly, Send me a notecard telling me this, and a copy of your shape. I will make one -just- for you.

For the opening of the new Fashion Mode, I'm going to be setting out a fatpack of plain tees. They have jacket, shirt, undershirt, and panty layers.. so it should work for whatever your little heart desires. They won't be put out, however, until Tomorrow, as the place doesn't officially open until 6pm SLT on Monday.. So keep that in mind! on Wednesday, I'll also be putting them out at my shop in Altstadt, So if you can't load FM for whatever reason, too much traffic, no desire to be in a mob of crazed shoppers (I feel your pain, really, I do), You can pick them up there, still free.

Like most days, I spent today with a massive headache, a screaming child, and not enough free time. However, I made some time this morning (very very early this morning) To snag a spot at the new Fashion Mode. This brings me up to a grand total of two personal shops, and one group shop with the other Cupcake! girls.

I'm pretty excited about opening a second shop, especially riding high on *gasp* getting reviewed by AnaLu recently. Now I know.. a lot of people get reviewed, and it is essentially a right of passage for a SL designer.. however... this was my -first- review on a fashion blog. It's special. Jelly has kindly worn my things for a couple of her Jelly's closets, or random pics of inworld fun.. and I love her dear dear dearly for it. It just feels different this time.. Why? Probably because I -know- her.. and I'm friends with her. Anyway... I'll stop going on about how my cherry has been popped, and get back to the important business at hand! New shop! It's set up (finally), with everything I could think of that I'd normally put out. With any luck, I'll have some more new items to display soon, or even perhaps advertise the custom sculpting I've been dabbling in. We'll see. Your mission, should you choose to accept it.. Get your butts down to Fashion Mode and gander at all the hard work Ashlin put into making it super cute, and see all the shops in action.

I finally got the Dress Vendor up.. I know, it took way longer than I anticipated, but that's what happens when there are sculpties commissioned! I'm offering Six Dresses/Fatpacks of dresses in the Vendor (For other styles you'll have to go to the Cupcake! Store @ Bootiful Creations Mini shops).. I'm not going to put all of them out, but here are a few of my new/newer ones.

Flowered and Dot Stripe are color varients of the same dress/idea. I know the pink one may look like dots from here... but trust me, they're flowers.

All of these Dresses have 4 prim skirts for different body shapes. One that's more or less roundy, one that's for a small waist with a bit of hips (called small), One for those ladies who have a bit of a belly and wide hips as well, and one for the ladies with a flatter stomach, and big 'ol hips. I love my big girls. Srsly. They're all mod/copy, so you can size them around until you're hearts content and preserve the original incase something goes terribly wrong.

These tops (Uh-Oh Alien, Banana Mayhem, and Vintage Lady) Are Available in my store for 75L$ each. they're a little funky, a little childish, and a lot colorful. I like to personally think of them as cake. Colorful Layers, a bit sweet, but completely calorie free. I realize you might not know me.. but it bears stating... that calories are not my enemy. I love them. And Fat. And Carbs. However, most of you do not... so for those of you who strive to live on the healthy side of things... I offer you this.

I'd also like to note... the alien looks like it has jowls, which only makes me happier. Seriously.. Who doesn't love an alien with jowls?
