Starlust is almost open!

I've been a bad blogger, and a bad group updater lately.. but honestly, I've been working my ass off both in SL and RL trying to get things squared away for the SIM opening this weekend. I've put out a ton of freebies inside the Ki-Squared Mine (Dunno how many survived the Angry spirits.. more on that in a minute), in the Form of gold nuggets which you have to mine yourself! Simply click the sign inside the entrance to get your mining Pick, Attach it, And click on the nuggets as you find them!

Now... About the angry spirits... Apparently, our land used to be an ancient burial ground. All month long I've been fighting with things vanishing. Not returning to my inventory, just vanishing. I've set out a total of 25 freebies (some of them things I've set out more than once).. And they keep vanishing, and randomly reappearing (sometimes not). SO, that being said, I'm trying to make sure that things are all out, but in the event they're not, Come back another time, and they should be... There is also the chance that things that've previously vanished will be back without me realizing it... Should this happen... They'll be rather large, and probably floating mid air. This isn't how I intended them to be, but.. We'll call it an easy grab. I've got the Purple Party Beads, Encrusted Nugget Rings and Hairflowers, A couple of Tee shirt packs, And a couple of other random things set out in the gold. Happy Hunting!

I've also been working on Jewelry the last couple of weeks. Most of it is priced 50 or 75 L, with one necklace (the Sassy Grandma) being 100. The Red one Above is Called " Sally Fields Mothers Day Present". You can thank Hank for the title. He's sassy, that one. I hope you all come out to see all the lovely things people have built, Made, and labored over for the last few weeks/month, And have a grand time while you do.

The opening is Tonight!

The Starlust Motel is opening tonight at 11pm SLT. People are busy setting out freebies, and Dollarbies for the stream of people we expect to meander through, And in all, just making sure everything is as it should be. Be sure -you- don't miss out on this roarin' good time. There will be discounted items (only for the opening), a Pool to lounge in, Beds to jump on, Televisions to watch (if you're into that), And designers to meet.

On Sunday evening, there will also be a formal party, where all the designers will be, in some way shape or form, present to chat with everyone. Should I mention that the elusive Toast Bard, of Fashionably Dead Fame, is slated to be present as well, in all her glory? I can only half heartedly promise that she probably, most likely, won't be wearing a strap on, so you're in luck! Get your butts down there tonight, and Sunday, and see what we've all been up to for the last month.

New Tops, New Store, New Shopping Center, Oh My!

Ki-2s' newest addition is here, At all the locations, and ready for your lovin, all of it, by the way. These are sold Individually, in BerryFarm, Lake, Sunset, And WheatField. Sense a theme? Spring in the midwest! I was going to make other colors (Pollution, Raw Sewage, Goose Poop) but decided it might be in poor taste to focus on the negative on the cusp of my new Main Store opening this Friday at 11pm SLT. It's a magical time in a girls life when she has an opening that won't need stitches and wasn't put there by nature. Come and celebrate with me, and the rest of the gang with new Store openings at The Starlust Motel this weekend: Thimbles, Bagley, La Sylphide, Amplify, Schadenfruede, SD Wears, GG Couture, HOT BOX, PUDGE!, And Violet Voltaire. It should be a good rowdy time for all.

Just a little heads up for you, I'll be releasing these sweetcheek outfits Next Weekend, at the opening of the Starlust Motel.. That Super secret Project we've had in the works for the last month or so. After the opening I'll be putting them up in my other shops as well, but stay tuned for more info about the Motel, and how you can come join the delapidated festivities!

Stripe Muffin Extravaganza!

Okay, Extravaganza is perhaps going overboard.. but I did make a new dress, which looks cute with pants, or without, has three different prim skirt shapes, and really makes me want muffins. It doesn't look like a muffin (as you can see by now), but.. It took me too long to get the sides to match up, so really, I think a muffin would be a good addition to my evening. Oh yes, lest I forget.. It's up at Fashion Mode, and Sensual Productions.
